This art teaching resource supports students in making a watercolour abstract design, pictured above. Students use watercolour and through mark making, layering and working wet on wet, create a surface to collage with. Using a faint template, they create the design above. This download includes:
- A 7-slide PowerPoint that supports students through the process. (See above)
- 3 good examples to show students what to aim for. These are in the PowerPoint and in the form of PDF’s that can be printed and put on tables.
- A faint grid to help students place their circles.
- The worksheet pictured here (with the scissors on) to use instead of the PowerPoint or in addition to it.
For this project, you will need watercolour brushes, watercolour, waterpots and paper.
