Togetherness, Diversity and Patriotism Collaborative Artwork

By request, I have created and ‘Togetherness, Diversity and Patriotism’ collaborative artwork that includes the American flag.

With this collaborative artwork, students work in groups with each student drawing a piece of the image which then fits together to create a large artwork.  The lesson plan suggests you use pencils to draw the hands and watercolor and salt in the background to create the colour and texture.  This image is dramatic and lends itself to conversations about togetherness, diversity and patriotism.

• This only comes in Letter Size pieces.  8 pieces combine to make a large artwork.
