Suprya is a fashion designer turned teacher, who now teaches Fashion Art and Illustration by holding workshops as extra curricular sessions through schools, Arts Organisations, Museums and Galleries. She is passionate about young people having the opportunity to develop creatively inside and outside the curriculum, to pursue the creative dreams and ambition they have.
For several years, Suprya worked in the Fashion Industry as a designer and her products retailed internationally. She now uses mixed media to create illustrations, from printmaking, acrylic and watercolour to pen and ink, in her own creative practice and it was the desire to inspire others to develop creatively that drove her to teach. Suprya works with all age groups and is able to pitch at the level she is teaching effectively. She has a plethora of Industry knowledge and is able to provide sound career advice, particularly in Textiles and Fashion.
