Susannah Greenwood

I am an artist and teacher living in Emsworth, on the South Coast between Portsmouth and Chichester. I work with five local schools running art clubs, art workshops and creative holiday activities. I am the artist in residence at an Artsmark school and meet the students once a month for creative studies plus I run occasional INSET workshops - helping staff with wall displays, dual coding art, craft and design vocabulary and sharing tips and techniques used in art therapy. I'm lucky enough to run many of my holiday sessions from a beautiful alpaca meadow or at the beach. My greatest love is papercraft and collage, however I enjoy drawing, painting and printing too. I run tutor sessions to help improve fine motor skills (for young ones), prepare portfolios for secondary school art scholarships and GCSE sketchbook skills to help improve confidence, presentation, artist awareness and skill. I also run weekly adult art clubs. I also paint wall and window murals and stage scenery. Throughout all these sessions I talk about the benefits to your mental health and well-being as it is such a fantastic way to improve your mood.
