I am a functional ceramic artist but have experience with mosaic art as well. I understand the value and impact Art Education has on a student. Art has guided me through so many moments of my life. My mission is to strengthen ceramic programs and support the teachers who make art happen.

My twelve years in education have allowed me to feel extremely comfortable in setting clear expectations, creating procedures, and developing a positive classroom atmosphere. For me, it is essential to both develop connections with my students and to make learning relevant. Building relationships helps motivate students to learn and allows me to design lesson plans with their interests in mind. I have instructed adults, young people, individuals with special needs, and worked with the Juvenile Justice Program. I have designed engaging lesson plans, created collaborative art projects, and have also worked to create large art displays. In every setting, I felt strongly connected to the power art can have despite your limitations, settings, background, or age.Areas I Cover
