Thank you for this activity inspiration, Sarah. Here in NZ we have just had Father’s Day. ‘I am thankful for’, opened good discussion about what our caregivers do for/with us. The children created their own spiral with their thankfulness notes for their Father. The spirals were then mounted onto complementary coloured card, on the back of which, their message was written.
They looked great and all unique.
This activity could be used for many different scenarios.

Just found this page and will be revisiting a lot! This resource is wonderful therapeutic art activity. I am counselor working with kids and adolescents in North Carolina, USA, and so many of the resources I’ve seen on this page are wonderful for therapeutic expressive arts activities. Thank you!!
