Art Analysis with Noah Charney

There was so much to learn from professor, art historian, and best-selling author Noah Charney. Speaking to an audience of 50 art teachers, we explored his book The 12-Hour Art Expert before he brought two artworks to life through in-depth analysis. We then discussed how these approaches could be applied in the classroom, making for an insightful and inspiring session.

The 12-Hour Art Expert would be excellent for new teachers who want to have a foundational knowledge of art. I’m pleased to say it is written in a conversational and sometimes humorous tone.
