Christina is a community driven artist-teacher and creative education consultant. Her extensive schools career history in teaching and leadership, coupled with her art and design skills, merged in 2011 when Doodle Designs was born. The intersection of Christina’s creative and pedagogical skills allow her to approach projects in a unique style. Addressing strategy and policy, raising standards, delivering skills as well as expanding the wider community’s art experience are at the heart of her work.
Doodle Designs delivers a range of public art participatory projects. From ceramics to murals, spray can art to messy play, Christina’s passion lies in connecting communities through art, craft and design. Her dedicated and accessible approach to facilitating workshops through public consultation, not only supports others to fulfil their creative potential, but leaves meaningful legacies for the communities she engages.
Alongside her ongoing London school partnerships, Christina's clients include IKEA, Edmonton Green Shopping Centre, Youth Enfield, Enfield Council and Millfield Arts Centre. Christina was the 2021 Artist in residence at Enfield’s Month of Sundays festival across the borough. Her inspiring education work has also been recognised by the British Council who have invited her to sit on their International School Awards panel for consecutive years.
Christina continues to work as an Education Consultant, supporting several London schools through mentoring, coaching and training. When not in schools or delivering community art workshops, you can find Christina firing up her kiln in her home studio, the Doodle Den.

Experience in Schools
From spray can art to ceramics, Doodle offer a huge range of creative workshops for children and young people across all age ranges and settings. Teaching and sharing art skills through workshops is something we love and have been doing for a very long time. We work with a huge variety of organisations to deliver workshops; from schools to local councils, youth services to adult community groups, the general public to invite-only sessions. To us, any setting can be a creative one. Our pop-up/pop-down style of working means we provide all resources and everything needed to run the workshop, then at the end we fully clear up leaving no trace - other than the artwork produced! Workshops we’ve run previously include: spray can art, clay and ceramics, mosaics, participatory murals, 3D design, portfolio and sketchbook, textiles, leaded glass, marbling and ink, Indian block printing, paper bead making, art with recycled materials, collage, felt making, t-shirt/tote bag design and stencil art. We are always keen to explore new mediums/themes to expand what we can offer and are very happy to follow your brief/ideas or work on something new. Utilising our wealth of teaching and learning experience, we work with a range of local primary and secondary schools to deliver wrap-around art provision at after school clubs. Either following briefs from the schools to target specific areas of need or improvement (e.g. literacy/numeracy, fine motor skills or deep diving into a specific artist or medium), or planning and designing a bespoke art technique programme to upskill children and young people in something new each week. This has recently included workshops on constructed textiles, collage, ceramics, printmaking and business enterprise, as well as a series of sessions to transform an existing outdoor classroom - children were supported to use collage techniques on paper to map out their ideas, before transferring the designs onto the structure itself using colourful wood preserving paint to create a bright a new inspiring learning space, participating in the artistic process from start to finish.Areas I Cover
