Analysing an Artwork – Edgar Degas
Being able to analyse an artwork is a key skill for students. This resource uses Bloom’s Taxonomy to create higher-order thinking questions that cover describing, understanding, analysing and evaluating.
There are two versions of this resource, one for the UK and one for the USA. There is also an A4 colour picture of the artwork so that students can see a larger version. To accommodate really able students I tell the class they can continue on the back should they wish to do so.
