It is never wrong to get your students looking at more artists and art. This artist research resource has been created to work alongside my artists listed by theme page which you can see here:
Students would need access to the internet to complete the tasks on this download.
Students follow the instructions on the resource and select a category from the ‘Artists Listed by Theme’ page. They then follow the links and look up the artists. They choose an artist and answer the questions on paper or in their sketchbook. They then write about a piece of work by the artist in more detail.
This download also includes a lesson plan should you wish to use this as a sub/cover lesson.
You must log in and be a buyer of this download to submit a review.
I set up The Arty Teacher because I have a passion for my subject that I want to share with other art teachers around the world.
I have been a high school art teacher for over 20 years, so I understand what it’s like to be in front of a class of students, often with very different abilities and attitudes.
I wanted to develop resources that would help teachers to bring out the best in every student in every class. I also wanted to free-up staff from time-consuming lesson preparation to let them focus instead on delivering exciting, motivating, dynamic lessons, supported by excellent resources.
