Description

This is a choice board for pattern.  This download includes:

  • A one-page choice board with 12 ideas for projects which each link to pattern.
  • An additional document that suggests artists that would be good to research for each choice, should you wish your students to link their project to an artist. (Optional)

Use this as a starting point for a choice-based project or to assess your students understanding of pattern.  There are two versions of this resource with different spellings of colour/color.

    Great for the much needed in between projects when we’re waiting for students to finish up their projects so that we can move on the the next big thing. This gave the HS students plenty of choices and clear direction, yet leaving room for creativity.

    Sarah Crowther – The Arty Teacher

    I set up The Arty Teacher because I have a passion for my subject that I want to share with other art teachers around the world.

    I have been a high school art teacher for over 20 years, so I understand what it’s like to be in front of a class of students, often with very different abilities and attitudes.

    I wanted to develop resources that would help teachers to bring out the best in every student in every class. I also wanted to free-up staff from time-consuming lesson preparation to let them focus instead on delivering exciting, motivating, dynamic lessons, supported by excellent resources.
