Description

Drawing and collaging a pineapple is an ideal blended learning art resource as it can be completed at home or in the classroom.  I would allow 3 (50 min) lessons for the drawing and 4 or 5 for the collaging of the pineapple.  This resource includes the four pages pictured above which are made up of:

  • An attractive front cover.
  • A page with instructions for drawing a pineapple including a good example.
  • A detailed photograph of a pineapple to draw and base the collage on.
  • A page with instructions for collaging a pineapple including a good example.

If your students are at home they don’t need to print this, they just need to view it on a PC or device.

There are lots of home and blended learning resources on The Arty Teacher.

Sarah Crowther – The Arty Teacher

I set up The Arty Teacher because I have a passion for my subject that I want to share with other art teachers around the world.

I have been a high school art teacher for over 20 years, so I understand what it’s like to be in front of a class of students, often with very different abilities and attitudes.

I wanted to develop resources that would help teachers to bring out the best in every student in every class. I also wanted to free-up staff from time-consuming lesson preparation to let them focus instead on delivering exciting, motivating, dynamic lessons, supported by excellent resources.
