Drawing Shells – Blended/Hybrid School or Home Learning

This ‘Drawing Shells’ resource has been created as a ‘no sharing materials’ blended learning project.  It can be used in school or the pack can be printed and students can use it at home.  This download includes the following:

• A printable 7-page PDF that includes drawing tasks for creating a line drawing, tone/value drawing, cross hatching drawing, coloured pencil drawing, stippling drawing and then students create a drawing in their most successful medium.  Each task includes a good example of what you want your students to draw.
• A PowerPoint that includes all the same tasks and is useful if you want students to work in a sketchbook rather than on the worksheets.  The PowerPoint includes the images that you’d need to print for students to draw from, on the last two slides in the PowerPoint.

This resource comes with a version for the UK and USA to account for the different spellings of colour and use of tone/value.
