Feather Colour Wheel

Feather Colour Wheel

This appealing, one-page Feather Colour Wheel has been designed to get your students to learn or consolidate their learning of primary, secondary and tertiary colours.  There is a version with the spelling ‘colour’ and ‘color’.  There is no lesson plan with this download as it could be used in many different ways. (Paint, coloured pencils, flat or gradated colour).  Why not print it large?

The text on this resource reads: “The feathers in the circle below represent a 12 section colour wheel. That means you will need to paint the primary colours and mix the secondary and tertiary colours.”

There are many colour theory art lessons on The Arty Teacher website.

If your students complete this worksheet well, why not send me some images and in return I’ll give you a discount code for this website?

I will teach 3rd, 4th and 5th grade in art class, as students need to learn the knowledge of colour theory and monochromatic shades. A big thank you for your great ideas in the field of arts. Thank you so much, Sarah!
