Georgia O’Keeffe Art Project

This Georgia O’Keeffe art project is a comprehensive unit of work where students will research Georgia O’Keeffe and create a research page, photograph roses, draw roses in a variety of media and then create a line drawing on a textured surface which they then work into with pencil and watercolour.  This download includes the following:

• An 11-slide PowerPoint that includes beautiful examples of photography pages and an excellent example of a sketchbook page with drawings of roses in different media. Also, an excellent example of the final outcome.
• A four-page, detailed, written unit of work.  This breaks the project down into 10 stages and is full of practical advice and tips.
• 5-rose images in case your budget won’t stretch to buying roses.
• A single-column assessment rubric which you can use for assessment or self-assessment.
