Description

Have you ever wondered why you can’t create a paper snowflake as good as the ones you see on the internet? It’s all in the way you fold it!  If you fold your paper in the way shown on this download, you will get a snowflake with a far more intricate pattern which also has six points.

Demonstrate to your students and then place photocopies of this resource on tables to give extra support.  This is a great way to introduce numeracy in the form of symmetry into your art lessons.

Sarah Crowther – The Arty Teacher

I set up The Arty Teacher because I have a passion for my subject that I want to share with other art teachers around the world.

I have been a high school art teacher for over 20 years, so I understand what it’s like to be in front of a class of students, often with very different abilities and attitudes.
