  • Create a collaged surface on packaging and draw a tool using charcoal.

Materials Required: Old packaging, brown packing paper, newspaper, corregated card, masking tape, gummed tape, acrylic paint, pencils and charcoal pencils.

    I used this with my Year 9’s – we used PVA and white poster paint on top which gives even more textured results as it dries in a crazed texture.

    Stress that they need to tear post-it note sized pieces and that corrugated cardboard needs placing around the edges to allow a flatter surface to draw on.

    The parcel tape is fun for them to use.
