This comprehensive Soft Toys Still Life unit of work asks students to create a still life using soft toys and then draw using a variety of different media on a variety of surfaces. Students bring in their own soft toys, so it’s personal too. During this project students will:
- Research a famous book illustrator and create a research page.
- Create and photograph soft toy still life arrangements.
- Create an art work where they draw with different media on different surfaces.

- A 4-page written unit of work that includes 7 stages: Introduction, artists research, photography, direct observation, drawing with different media, assessment and extension task. It also includes a range of suggested homework tasks.
