How to Cut Cardboard Easily

How to Cut Cardboard EasilyHave you ever wished you knew how to cut cardboard easily? As an art teacher, I’ve cut a heck of a lot of card over the years.  I wish I had known about this device sooner.  I first heard about it on Facebook where other art teachers were talking about how great it was.  Our department now has one, and we love it.

The Worx Zip Snip is a cordless electric pair of scissors.  It can cut through paper, card, carpet or other materials up to a quarter of an inch thick.  Check out the video below to see it in action.

You can find the Zip Snip on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk.

Both the trigger and the lock-out switch need to be pressed to make the Zip Snip operate, so it’ll only work when you’ve got a firm grip on this tool.  It takes about 5 hrs to initially charge but stays charged for ages.

When you are preparing cardboard for projects, and that might be for sculptures, constructions or just pieces for painting on, this tool will make it so much quicker.  Let’s face it, we don’t have a lot of time to spare!

You can find the Zip Snip on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk.
